Today, after we bottle-fed our kids, we went to get the two horses that we were going to ride, Patches and Bella. After grooming both of the horses, I got to help put the tack on Bella. When I rode Patches, Emma and I had a race. Then I had to go and do leather with Steven. I made a pretty little four-leaf clover, with a "C"in the middle and flowers on the leaves. Later I painted it with "saddle tan". After iI finished my leather, I ran as fast as I could to go ride Bella. I was the very last camper to ride, and we did a few rounds around the pasture. I the got to help Ally unsaddle her. By then Steven, Ann Marie, and Evan were ready to go do our chores. We did the trail work, then came back and had break and lunch. During break, the boys let the goats out, and us girls had to chase them back into the pin. After that we got to learn about bees and sample honey. I'm about to go and milk Skittles and make beeswax lipbalm! I can't wait!
Chloe, you look like a natural in the saddle.
